Function Name: DrilldownLevel

Description: The DrilldownLevel function drills down the members of a set to one level below the lowest level in the supplied set. Optionally, you can drill down one level by specifying a level of a member within the supplied set.
Syntax: DRILLDOWNLEVEL( «Set»[, «Level» ] )
DRILLDOWNLEVEL( «Set»[, , «Index»] )

The query below uses the DrilldownLevel function to drill one level down from the Promotions hierarchy in the Promotions dimension.
 

SELECT
      {} ON COLUMNS,
      DRILLDOWNLEVEL({[Promotion].[Promotions].[All Promotions]}) ON ROWS
FROM
      [Adventure Works]
 
 

 
The following query returns the cross product of the Promotions members and the All Periods member in the Fiscal hierarchy by referencing the first hierarchy (0) in the supplied set to be drilled.
 

SELECT
      {} ON COLUMNS,
      DRILLDOWNLEVEL({[Promotion].[Promotions].[All Promotions]} * {[Date].[Fiscal]},,0) ON ROWS
FROM
      [Adventure Works]
 
 

 
The following query returns the cross product of the All Promotions member in the Promotions hierarchy and the Fiscal Year members by referencing the second hierarchy (1) in the supplied set to be drilled.
 

SELECT
      {} ON COLUMNS,
      DRILLDOWNLEVEL({[Promotion].[Promotions].[All Promotions]} * {[Date].[Fiscal]},,1) ON ROWS
FROM
